Collaboration

The number of users and permissions the company has is totally flexible, allowing you to bring in third party contributors for specific campaigns. Users can be organised into teams to see only their relevant content so that several project teams can be using the app at the same time.

Users can be given permissions to upload content, review and approve text, publish to web sites or to create and sent messages directly to supported social media platforms.

Chat

As well as formal notifications that can be defined within the app, there is an integrated chat function, allowing groups of users to discuss ideas and check on progress with collaborators.

Planning

A campaign may contain activities, events and shows which requires planning attendance, material and content. A comprehensive planning tool allows managers to assign activities to staff and to see the progress of each activity at a glance.

CRM

Important company and personal contact details can be kept, and activity with these contacts can be stored. Follow on contact activity can be assigned to different users.

Content

Images, Graphics, Audio and Video files of any size can be uploaded to an asset section. Metadata for each asset can be added to include alt-text, captions, and owners’ rights. Chunks of text Content can be added and edited.

When a new story/article/document is created, a selection of these assets can be dropped onto the story where they may be used in one of many published types.

Document Management

An inbuilt document management function allows files to be uploaded and accessed by users. Where appropriate these can be made available for download on the portal side.

Publishing

A story can be created, modified, reviewed, authorised by one or multiple users depending on your rules. The app has a change tracking function allowing different users to see changes made by others during the workflow.

The app includes several different publishing types. As well as creating a web page, users can create print versions (pdf or word), and content to be posted directly on social media for Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

A web page can be published to a local FTP site ready to be grabbed by a different web site, or it can be published on the portal.

Each time something is published it creates a new version and users can see the history of the different published versions.

The app’s scheduling tool is essential for those who do a lot of publishing to social media, enabling you to plan your social media posts.
